What a fabulous night the eighth Kent Women in Business Awards was…I think it may have taken a few days for some people to ‘recover’!!

As I stood on the stage and looked out at over 300 people I couldn’t help but notice the atmosphere was electric. People were chatting to people they hadn’t met before and the banter between some tables was infectious. I was gutted I couldn’t join in as I had a job to do which is one of the reasons we decided to put on a follow up event…mainly so I can be nosey, but also so that you can continue conversations from where you left off…

Soooo…..we invite you to attend an event on 30th March at the Great Danes Hotel. Officially from 6pm-8pm..but we all know the bar will remain open!

I, as a small business (co) owner, have accepted the £125 Challenge for the Kent and Medway Branch of the NSPCC. All money raised in the challenge will support the NSPCC Schools Service in Kent. Each £125 raised will allow the NSPCC to reach 40 children and help keep them safe from abuse and neglect.

If you would like to take up this challenge too, then please contact Michele Baxter directly on MicheleBaxter@nspcc.org.uk

I really do look forward to welcoming you back to the Great Danes, but this time, not in glad rags..smart/casual is fine. If you have any questions you can email me on hilary@businesslegacy.co.uk

Tickets are just £7.50 and include tea/coffee – and entry to a really cool raffle thingy. £2.50 of each ticket price will go directly to the NSPCC – Places can be reserved below;
